Being parents and babywearers ourselves for nearly 11 years we have seen a lot of positive development on the babywearing market throughout these years. The price of a woven wrap was and still is an obstacle for many parents to start wearing their child ergonomically.

A basic woven wrap for 29 EUR for size 6, Yaro Broken Twill 33 is a 100% cotton wrap in ecru woven in the broken twill technique. This is a well known basic weaving technique which is suitable for an all around, simple woven wrap. The weight of the wrap (GSM) is around 240-250 gr/m2. Just like any other woven wrap it will need a good wash when in the loom state and a short breaking in period. This is an easy going wrap which is suitable for younger and older babies. All Yaro wraps, including this Yaro Broken Twill 33, are being produced within the European Union according to all the industry standards, requirements and labor regulations. All the steps of the production process – designing, weaving, cutting, sewing, packing – are performed within the EU. All our yarns fulfill high quality standards that assure they are safe to use with babies and toddlers. The dyeing process of our yarns is according to Oeko-Tex standard and the dyeing of our organic yarns is GOTS certified. We are often being asked how we manage to offer wraps with such great quality for such affordable prices. The answer is simple. We believe in ethical and ecological production and therefore we work on optimizing all our processes to the fullest. We try to work as much as possible with suppliers who use ecological, closed loop manufacturing processes, solar and wind energy in order to minimize the impact of the production process on the environment. Girasol Amitola is the exclusive from SlingoMama. Girasol Amitola is
our craziest creation - he has 39 colors of Girasol and a yellow weft.













Girasol Amitola has 4 different versions of weft now:

Yellow - this is the original weft, as on the fotoshoot with a
beautiful mama and baby girl. This is the brightest weft and our favorite.

Creme - this weft preserves the natural colors of Amitola.

Pink - the colors of Girasol Amitola are also quite natural with pink
weft, but with a bit of pink shade.

Purple - this is a dark weft, the darkest purple on the Girasol colo
r chart. For those who prefer the "night" effect of Amitola.







The new batch of Amitola has arrived in March 2011. There is a
new weft - Fresca Silvestre (crimson). This color is between red
and brown.

The Girasol Donau has always been one of our most popular exclusive designs. 

The original weft of the Girasol Donau was Azul Pacifico. It's an intense tropical

blue color.

In order to experiment we have made 3 additional wefts for the girasol Donau. The color of the

weft changes the color of the whole design. 

Azul pacifico - the original weft. The images without text are with the Azul

Pacifico weft.

Azul hollandes - a dark blue color, used in the famous Dutch pottery

from delft. This weft puts extra accent on brown stripes and makes

them stand out more. And in general there is more contrast between

brown and blue stripes.

Columbia - it's an emerald green color. This is a dark weft and it makes

the whole colorway a bit darker.

Azul de ocaso - it's a light, soft and cold shade of blue. It softens the colorway,

makes the stripes look smooth.

“Minds are like flowers; they open only when the time is right.” Gorgeous new pattern, a bouquet of flowers with deep and saturated coloring. On one side the wrap is black with red green and yellow tones. On the reverse side we find a orange/salmon color that will change in different lighting. The wrap needs a little breaking in but will be great and soft after a wash and a few ups. This wrap is perfect as a single layered wrap, it will be perfect to use in a ruck as well with a heavier baby. The tencel will add extra softnes. It is woven in our signature trio weave. This weaving technique incorporates 3 different wefts in order to maximize the comfort of the woven wrap and the visual appearance of the pattern. 

The interplay of the 3 different wefts results in a strong and supportive wrap without being too overwhelming. The material takes the shape of the body and stays well in place during the wrap job. It's a versatile weave, suitable for younger babies and will be perfect for toddlers. The color scheme of the 3 wefts has a possibility of hundreds different shades which gives depth to the picture and a more detailed interpretation of the pattern.

Yaro La Fleur, one of the first patterns Yaro has released. This time in a beautiful blue and green atlantic rainbow. The colors make you think of the see and the crispy white makes the wrap look summery and fresh. The blend has linen and hemp which make this wrap very strong and supportive. In this wrap you can carry the biggest toddlers even in a single layered carry. The wrap is medium thick and is woven in our signature trinity weave. Because of the linnen the wrap will feel airy and cool. This wrap is suitable for bigger babies up to toddlerhood. It has a moderate breaking in period but once worn in it will become moldable an soft. You can machine wash at 30 degrees on delicate settings. Suitable for all experience levels.

It is finally here! The all new Yaro Waffle collection. This collection is woven in our signature waffle weave. This weave gives the wrap a lot of dimension and structure. In the two colored wraps, this makes a spectacular color changeant effect. The color changes when different lighting shines on it. The wraps are soft and moldable. The waffle weave makes these wrap fit like a bandage. These wraps are cushy and a cloud on the shoulders. The most sensitive skin will appreciate the silky soft feeling. Even the smallest newborn will be secure and comfortable. The wraps have a low gm2 and feel light in hand. To carry your toddler or bigger baby this wrap can be used multi layered as well. Adjustment for the wearer

Yaro Hug baby carrier can be adjusted for a wearer of any size. The shoulder straps can be shortened or extended depending on the length and size of the wearer. The design of the carrier allows 2 positions of the shoulder straps on the back – crossed or parallel. 

The connecting buckle on the shoulder straps is necessary to keep the shoulder straps from falling off the shoulders. It can slide up and down the shoulder straps. It can also be completely taken off and placed higher or lower so that the wearer can reach it without assistance and close it or open it. 

The waist band can be shortened or extended to fit the wearer perfectly. Yaro Hug baby carrier comes with an extra removable waist band cushion for the ultimate comfort of the wearer. The cushion serves as an extra layer between the body of the wearer and the waist band. It absorbs the 

pressure of the band on the back or on the belly of the wearer. The cushion also protects the C-section scar from the pressure and friction of the waist band. 

Adjustment for the baby

The back panel is adjustable in the width at the bottom – for a correct ergonomic position with a perfect knee to knee support, and at the top – for an ergonomic support of the neck of the baby. This wide range of adaptability allows to create a comfortable and ergonomic fit for the baby and makes the panel grow together with the baby from birth to toddlerhood. 

The integrated infant straps are attached to the waist band and can be used to enhance the ergonomic placement of the newborn baby in the carrier. Once the baby is old and strong enough and the infant straps are no longer needed, they can be shortened and compactly stored inside the waist band.

Adjustment for the wearer

Yaro Hug baby carrier can be adjusted for a wearer of any size. The shoulder straps can be shortened or extended depending on the length and size of the wearer. The design of the carrier allows 2 positions of the shoulder straps on the back – crossed or parallel. 

The connecting buckle on the shoulder straps is necessary to keep the shoulder straps from falling off the shoulders. It can slide up and down the shoulder straps. It can also be completely taken off and placed higher or lower so that the wearer can reach it without assistance and close it or open it. 

The waist band can be shortened or extended to fit the wearer perfectly. Yaro Hug baby carrier comes with an extra removable waist band cushion for the ultimate comfort of the wearer. The cushion serves as an extra layer between the body of the wearer and the waist band. It absorbs the pressure of the band on the back or on the belly of the wearer. The cushion also protects the C-section scar from the pressure and friction of the waist band. 

Adjustment for the baby

The back panel is adjustable in the width at the bottom – for a correct ergonomic position with a perfect knee to knee support, and at the top – for an ergonomic support of the neck of the baby. This wide range of adaptability allows to create a comfortable and ergonomic fit for the baby and makes the panel grow together with the baby from birth to toddlerhood. 

The integrated infant straps are attached to the waist band and can be used to enhance the ergonomic placement of the newborn baby in the carrier. Once the baby is old and strong enough and the infant straps are no longer needed, they can be shortened and compactly stored inside the waist band. 

The removable sleeping hood on the top of the back panel protects the head of the sleeping baby. It can be rolled up as a cushion behind the neck of the baby, or completely removed.

From birth to toddler 

The MySol is an alternative to or additional product for baby slings that allows users to safely, comfortably and ergonomically carry babies from birth to toddler in front of the stomach and on the back. 
The design is based on traditional Asian baby slings but its thought-through details mean that it also adapts to modern needs. 
The MySol is made from two layers of high-quality cross-body sling fabric that nestles like a second skin around the baby being carried and so provides optimum support. The MySol may be worn with each side facing out – practically two differently coloured baby slings in one! 
The MySol has been designed to grow with the child in order to ensure that users get the most from it for as long as possible: the width of the material between the legs may be smoothly and easily adjusted, which is important for the crouching position with legs spread apart and for encouraging the healthy development of the hips, particularly during the first year. 
The back section may be extended such that the sling will still safely and pleasantly fit even after the child has experienced his or her initial bursts of growth, the integrated hood supports the sleeping baby's head and protects it against the sun; the hood's width is also adjustable. Padded shoulder straps and a padded and stabilized hip belt also make the MySol comfortable for the person carrying the baby. 
During development, we intentionally decided not to use hard plastic components, clasps, buckles and complicated adjustment features but did create a strain-relieving chest belt for the back carrier and a practical hip belt for such important small items as purses and keys and so on. 
The MySol was developed by Girasol and consultants experienced in how to carry babies and it has been lovingly woven and sewn in small workshops in Guatemala: for an intimate and comfortable carrying experience that comes with a good conscience, fair trade and craftsmanship.
