Yaro Hug Baby Carrier Video Tutorial: Step-by-Step Fitting Guide

The Yaro Hug is our ergonomic full-buckle baby carrier (click-and-go buckles on both waist belt and shoulder straps — zero tying), designed to grow seamlessly from newborn to toddler (EU clothing size 50 to 86, 3.5–15 kg). Watch this tutorial to see how to adjust and fasten your Yaro Hug safely in 30 seconds.

Step-by-Step Guide: Fitting Your Yaro Hug Carrier

  1. Adjust the seat width to your baby: Cinch the base of the back panel infinitely so the fabric supports cleanly from knee-pit to knee-pit while allowing the lower legs to swing freely.
  2. Buckle the waist belt high for newborns: For newborns and young infants (size 50–68), position the padded waist belt high around your natural waist so your baby sits effortlessly at close-enough-to-kiss height. Click the safety buckle until it snaps and tighten snugly.
  3. Seat your baby in the ergonomic M-position: Hold your baby against your chest, let their bottom settle deeply into the soft pouch just above the waist belt (knees higher than bottom), and bring the panel smoothly up over their back.
  4. Click & tighten the shoulder straps: Slip the padded shoulder straps over your shoulders (worn parallel with the chest/back clip or crossed across your back), click the side buckles shut, and pull the webbing smoothly to remove slack.
  5. Neck support & airway check: Adjust the top neck cushion gently to ear-lobe height and verify that your baby's face is visible, airways are clear, and chin is off their chest.
