1. Choose your wrap size (based on the wearers dimensions)

Your wrap size depends on your own body build and height (not on your babys age or weight):

  • Size 5 (4.20 m): Ideal for smaller, petite frames (EU dress size 34–36 / US 4–6).
  • Size 6 (4.60 m): The universal standard base size for average frames (EU dress size 38–42 / US 8–12).
  • Size 7 (5.20 m): Perfect for taller wearers or plus-size frames (EU dress size 44+ / US 14+).

These three sizes (5, 6, and 7) cover 95% of parents for the all-round Front Wrap Cross Carry (FWCC). Shorter sizes 2, 3, and 4 are primarily used for specialized carrying styles (such as hip carries or advanced back carries) and are rarely chosen by beginners. Sizes 8 and 9 are intended for very large builds or tandem carrying (wearing twins simultaneously).

Why choose a woven wrap instead of a stretchy wrap?
A stretchy wrap stretches in all directions and frequently begins to sag after a few months as your baby gains weight. In contrast, a woven wrap only yields diagonally, retaining firm support and structural stability with practically no upper weight limit — many woven wraps can even carry adults! A woven wrap grows effortlessly from the newborn stage through the entire toddler years.
What is the weight limit, and what should I choose for a heavier toddler?
Thanks to its resilient diagonal weave, a woven wrap has virtually no maximum weight capacity. If you are carrying an active or heavier toddler, we recommend choosing a wrap with a higher fabric weight (GSM > 290) from our Yaro Trendy Collection, or transitioning to back carries for optimal weight distribution.
How do I wash and care for a woven baby wrap?
Woven wraps made from 100% cotton are very easy to care for: machine wash at 40°C using a gentle liquid detergent free from optical brighteners and fabric softeners. We always advise washing a brand-new wrap before first use: this sets the woven threads securely into their permanent weave structure and immediately softens the fabric.
